| Welcome to Black River Technical College Fire Training Center Our MissionTo provide the education and training needs of the firefighters of Arkansas Black River Technical College Fire Training Center originated in August of 1989 as a part of Black River Vo-Tech School. FTC moved into our present location in January of 1990. In 1992 Black River Vo-Tech became Black River Technical College.FTC is also associated with the Arkansas Fire Academy to teach classes for Northeast Arkansas Firefighters.
